What is an MSP (managed service provider)?

An MSP (managed service provider) is a company that remotely and proactively manages its clients' IT (monitoring, maintenance, security and support) for a predictable monthly fee, rather than per-incident when something breaks.

The MSP model replaces the traditional break-fix approach with continuous, preventive management. The goal: prevent outages rather than react to them, at a predictable cost.

ITGS has acted as an MSP for Quebec SMEs, municipalities and nonprofits since 2004, with 24/7 monitoring and a single partner accountable for the entire IT environment.
